Chris brings over 30 years of professional services leadership in deal advisory, corporate finance and partnership governance. As National Head of Transaction Services at BDO UK and past Chair of the International Corporate Finance Group, he advised on 400+ transactions ranging from £20m to £1bn for private equity and corporate clients. He held senior governance roles including membership of BDO UK's Leadership Team and Partnership Council, and chaired the firm's Unifying Culture Board, driving wellbeing and organisational culture initiatives.

At Freshwood, Chris acts as a trusted adviser, drawing on his experience navigating complex organisations, leading high-performing teams and driving decisions to help shape the firm's thinking and direction.

As a qualified executive coach (Barefoot Coaching Limited) and Hogan practitioner, Chris works with senior leaders on transition, strategic influence and complex stakeholder engagement. His approach is pragmatic and commercially grounded, with emphasis on measurable outcomes and applied behavioural change.

In common with a few of the team, Chris is a keen cyclist and was instrumental in creating and growing BDO VELO (networking whilst pedalling) to over 150 members.
